Description Close up photograph of service area at Lincoln, Nebraska Skelly Service Station #1 titled "Drain Pits July 1, 1925 (103 [degrees] In Shade)". Drain pits sit underneath a large carport covering. The eave of the structure reads: "Free Crank-Case Service". The back wall is brick and painted with slogans: "Drain your crank case every 500 to 600 miles," "Use Tagolene Utmost in Lubrication," and "Our service is free". On the left column a sign mounted to the side reads: "Tagolene The Utmost in Lubrication". A rack of six large oil barrels sit to the right of the service area. A fence separates the service area from the alley and neighborhood behind the station. Bottom border of photograph reads upside down: "May - 66".
