Typewritten letter addressed to Louise Clinton of Tulsa, Indian Territory, from U.S. Indian Agent J. Blair Shoenfelt of Muskogee, Indian Territory, dated July 8, 1904. In response to Clinton's prior protest against the approval of a 15-year oil and gas lease between Clinton and Charles F. Colcord, Clarence O. Russell, Ed L. Dunn, and Robert Galbreath of Oklahoma City, Indian Territory, Shoenfelt advises Clinton to appear at his office on July 26, 1904 for a hearing regarding this matter. He states that she should bring evidence and testimony to support her opposition to the lease. |
