Sixteen-page booklet entitled "To the Engineers Spavinaw Water Project, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1922-1924" compiled by W. E. Kernan in 1924. Kernan created the booklet in honor of the engineers who made possible the Spavinaw water project, which brought a reliable source of water to Tulsa, OK. The booklet is signed by the project's chief engineer, William Rea Holway. It contains a list of sixty-four engineers who worked on the project. The booklet also contains a timeline of the project events, beginning with the first survey on April 19, 1922, to water running in Tulsa mains on November 17, 1924. The booklet also contains the menu for the Engineers' Banquet, held at the Hotel Tulsa on November 15, 1924. The last page contains a reprint of the musical score "Coming Down from Spavinaw" written by F. H. Holway and A. M. Hirsh. |
