Scrapbook compiled by William Ray Grimshaw, Sr. highlighting the construction projects of W. R. Grimshaw Company of Tulsa, OK. It contains material from November 12, 1958 to May 1, 1965. These materials consist of correspondence, newspaper clippings, magazine clippings, and one photograph. The correspondence consists of letters and telegrams written to the company from various corporations including the following: Koberling & Brandborg Architects, Jersey Production Research Company, First National Bank & Trust Company, architect David Murray, United States Steel Corporation, and American Institute of Steel Construction, Inc. The construction projects highlighted in the scrapbook include the following: Republic National Bank, Southern Hills National Bank of Tulsa, Tulsa Central Library, Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital of Tulsa, Holiday Inn Hotel, Liberty Tower Condiminiums, University Club Tower, Sunray DX water treatment plant, Warren Petroleum Corporation Building, Amerada Petroleum Corporation Buidling, Bishop Kelley High School, Tulsa Municipal Airport terminal, Nathan Hale High School, Wonderland Shopping Center, Hissom Memorial Center, warehouse for Associated Grocers of Tulsa, and Saints Peter and Paul Church. The scrapbook covers are brown, bonded leather with the name of the company embossed in gold. |
