7-inch 45 RPM vinyl record, a product of Elektra Records, Los Angeles, CA. The record contains two tracks: "Goodbye Girl" (Side A) and "Sunday Rider" (Side B) produced and arranged by David Gates. "Goodbye Girl" is the title song from Neil Simon's "The Goodbye Girl", a romantic comedy-drama film. The label is red with black and white text. David Gates was born in Tulsa, OK in 1940. He attended Will Rogers High School where he formed his first band, The Accents, with other musical classmates including Claude Russell Bridges (Leon Russell). |
