Oral history interview of T. Austin Gavin recorded on December 19, 1979 by volunteer Sally Slemaker of the Junior League of Tulsa, Inc. and given to the Tulsa County Historical Society. T. Austin Gavin, longtime Tulsa lawyer, tells of his life and how the law practice has changed. Originally from Independence, KS, Gavin and his family move to Tulsa in 1913. He remembers many colorful judges, sheriffs, prosecutors, and the County Bar Association in the Tulsa legal scene. The audio recording is 01:00:25 in length.
