Program from the Tulsa Civilian Defense Show and War Rally held at the Coliseum, located at 501-523 South Elgin Avenue, on April 18, 1942. Hey Rube, Inc. wrote, produced, and staged the entire production as fundraiser for the World War II effort. The second page of the program contains portrait photographs of all officers and members of Hey Rube, Inc. Some of these members included the following: Glenn Condon (president), Grafton J. Fox, Johnny Mullins, Eddie Quigley, F. B. Bunch, O. W. Mayo, Ben Henneke, Sam Avey, Lew Miller, David Milsten, Ralph Talbot, Jack Frost, Eddie Coontz, and E. C. Vickers. The third page includes a list of production staff members, production committee members, and reception committee members. It also includes a program of the performance entitled "Breakfast Club with Don McNeill." The fourth page contains an advertisement for Sears, Roebuck and Company, located at 5th Street and South Boulder Avenue in Tulsa, Ok. |
