Description |
Color photograph measuring 6" x 4" and depicting the east end of the basement billiards room of the Samuel Rabinowitz Travis Mansion, located at 2445 South Peoria Avenue in Tulsa, OK. Travis, a Tulsa oilman, built the home in 1919. Architect Noble B. Fleming designed the home in Italian Renaissance-style. The image shows an original fireplace adorned with green tiles. The fireplace still exists, now in the office of the curator of collections in the basement level of the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum. |
