Description |
Sepia-toned photograph measuring 8" x 10" of the temporary accounting department set up by the American Red Cross following the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The photograph shows six individuals sitting behind desks and tables. The lower right corner of the photograph contains a handwritten caption stating, "Accounting Department." The back of the photograph contains the photographer's stamp indicating G. I. Talmage took this photograph. Photographer Gifford I. Talmage's studio was located in the Robinson Building at 519 West Fourth Street. |
