Reproduction, black & white photograph measuring 10" x 8" and depicting the "Booster Train" in Terre Haute, IN on March 16, 1905. In an effort to advertise and "boost" Tulsa business and industry, the Tulsa Commercial Club organized the train excursion from Tulsa to cities of the Midwest. The commercial club brought along a band and printing press. Humorist Will Rogers accompanied the train. He is visible in the front row in the white shirt. |
