Reproduction, black and white photograph measuring 10" x 8" and depicting downtown Tulsa, OK at the intersection of East 6th Street and South Boston Avenue in 1941. Borden's Cafe, located at 518 South Boston Avenue, is visible in the center. A sign in the front window indicates the building was "Air Cooled." Several late 1930s and early 1940s cars parked around the cafe. Numerous signs and advertisements are visible, including the following: Royal Crown Cola, Globe Electric, Fred Jones Lincoln Mercury, Carnation Ice Cream, Otto's Beauty Salon, Club Buffet Fine Food, and Knapp Advertising. |
