Sepia-toned portrait photograph measuring 4" x 6", contained in a paperboard folio, of Frank Oscar Crane (1903-1984). Crane was the son of Charles Oscar Crane (1868-1953) and Minnie Elizabeth (St. John) Crane (1867-1935). The folio contains the photographer's logo at the bottom margin. The photographer was James Dixon "Dick" Hughes, who operated an early photography studio in Tulsa prior to statehood and later in Vinita, OK. Frank Oscar Crane was the nephew (by marriage) of the photographer. |
