Description |
Black & white sheet film negative measuring 5" x 4" and depicting an aerial photograph of the Tulsa Fairgrounds taken on October 1, 1957 during the Tulsa State Fair. The easterly view includes the two large water tanks on 21st Street (lower right), Pavilion, fair midway, stock barns, and buildings left from the 1953 International Petroleum Exposition. The upper portion of the photograph shows the racetrack and beyond that the corner of East 21st Street and South Yale Avenue where the new Sears and Roebuck store is under construction. |
