Description |
Sepia-toned photograph measuring 8" x 10" of the west corner of Greenwood Avenue and Archer Street following the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The entire block consists of burned brick buildings. The street is littered with debris and fallen bricks. Numerous people are visible walking down the street looking at the destruction. In the foreground at the far right is a safe with its door detached. This safe is also visible in photographs 2002.125.001, 2002.270.001, and 2006.075.006. |
