Black & white sheet film negative measuring 5" x 4" and depicting the groundbreaking ceremony for the Keystone Dam west of Tulsa, OK on the Arkansas River. The four men in the foreground are as follows (left to right): Colonel Wilson, U.S. Senator Robert S. Kerr, Gary Vandever, and unidentified. Nearly 1,000 people attended the ceremony marking the beginning of construction of the $138 million Keystone Dam. The ceremony was held at the north end of the dam site, eight miles west of Sand Springs, OK. |
