Color photograph measuring 4" x 6" and depicting the Washington Irving Monument in Owen Park Neighborhood, at Vancouver Ave. and Easton Blvd, in Tulsa, OK. The monument commemorates the famous author's visit to this area in 1832 in the company of soldiers from what is now known as Fort Gibson. The monument was donated by early day Tulsans, Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Norman Wright in 1915. |
