Black and white photograph measuring 7" x 5" and depicting a large parade in downtown Tulsa, OK, likely taken during World War I. The image shows a view looking north at the intersection of 4th Street and South Main Street in Tulsa. Numerous Red Cross nurses in white uniforms are visible in near the lower margin. A large crowd of spectators is visible along the streets and leaning out of building windows. Palace Clothiers is visible at the far left. Other businesses shown in the photograph include the following: Boston Shoe Shop, Abbott & Welch Real Estate and Insurance, S. H. Kress & Company. The Kennedy Building is visible at the far right. |
