Description |
Black & white photograph measuring 5" x 7" and depicting a portrait of Second Lieutenant Maxwell William "Max" Campbell (1895-1970) in his Army uniform during World War I. He served in the Second Infantry Company. He was one of the first officers transferred to the Army's new aviation branch and stationed in England. Campbell was a land developer, having built eight housing additions and several shopping centers in Tulsa, OK. He built Casa Loma, credited as Tulsa's first suburban shopping center. He also built Southland Shopping Center. |
