Description |
Black & white photograph measuring 10" x 8" and depicting the home of J. Edgar Pew, located at 1443 South Cheyenne Avenue, Tulsa, OK. Suspected members of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) used dynamite to damage the home on October 29, 1917. The IWW was an international labor union. The back of the photograph contains handwritten inscriptions stating, "J. Edgar Pew, bombed by I.W.W. Dynamited Oct. 29, 1917, rebuilt, razed August 1976." |
