Description |
Black & white photograph measuring 12" x 10" and depicting Tulsa Athletic Park in Tulsa, Creek Nation. Tulsa Athletic Park was located at the intersection of East 2nd Street and South Frankfort Avenue. The park contained 300 feet facing 2nd Street, and 300 feet facing South Frankfort Avenue. In March 1906, the baseball park's grandstand was improved with private boxes and a press stand for newspaper correspondants. An inscription on the back of this photograph identifies it incorrectly as "McNulty Park 7th and Elgin." McNulty Park was not built until 1919. |
