Description |
Black & white, 35 mm, roll film negative containing two images of the Tulsa Tribune Building, located at 20 East Archer Street in Tulsa, OK. Built in 1924, the building contained the newspaper plant of the Tulsa Tribune until the newspaper moved to a new facility in 1942. Thereafter, the building was used as a warehouse until renovated in 1970 for use by John 3:16 Rescue Mission to provide services to the indigent. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 16, 1979. The BOK Tower is visible in the background on the left. The negative also conatins a street scene taken near the intersection of North Boston Avenue and East Archer Street. |
