Black & white photograph measuring 6" x 10" and depicting an oil rig operated by Skelly Oil Company, location unknown. The back of the photograph contains in inscription reading, "Skelly Oil Company Reports July Net of $200,000 - The Skelly Oil Company reports net earnings for July of $654,756, or 60 cents per share of common stock. This is $200,000 more than the company earned during the entire first six months of the current year and the largest single month since September, 1926. William G. Skelly president, said improvement in prices and demand for refined products was responsible for the increase." |
