Description |
National currency five dollar bill issued in 1929 by the United States Treasury and the Exchange National Bank of Tulsa, OK. The front of the bill contains text reading, "The Exchange National Bank of Tulsa Oklahoma will pay to the bearer on demand five dollars." The bill contains the printed signatures of the following individuals: Edward E. Jones, register of the Treasury; Walter Orr Woods, Treasurer of the United States; Ernest L. Bradshaw, cashier of Exchange National Bank; and Harry H. Rogers, president of Exchange National Bank. The bill measures 6 inches by 2.5 inches. The front also contains the portrait of President Abraham Lincoln. The reverse contains an image of the Lincoln Memorial. |
