Description |
Storage travel case measuring 16" x 11" x 5" and containing twenty-four wax phonograph cylinders intended for use with the Edison Company's Fireside Phonograph. The case is a wooden briefcase-style trunk with metal hardware and twenty-four small cylinders which hold the wax phonograph cylinders upright and in place. The case is lined with blue felt and held open by two black, cotton ribbons. The wax cylinders measure 2.125" in diameter x 4.125" and are supported by an inner ceramic structure.
