Description |
White bedspread measuring 81" x 108.5" and depicting nine hand-embroidered cowboys. The cowboys are engaged in different tasks, such as lassoing, bronco riding, sitting on fence posts, and waving their hats. The general shapes are embroidered in colorful thread and the cowboys' shirts and hats are formed by scrap fabrics. The white cloth onto which they are embroidered is made of airplane cloth, so called beacuse it was made of the same cloth used in the manufacture of airplanes during World War II. |
