Art Deco, electric, table clock with chrome and cobalt blue mirror manufactured by Warren Telechron Company of Ashland, MA, 1935. The clock measures 6.25 inches in height, 7.25 inches in width, and 2.25 inches in depth. It consists of a rectangular, chrome base, which holds a circular, cobalt blue mirror surrounding a glass clock dial. The dial contains the manufacturer's name. The back of the clock contains embossed information including the manufacturer's name, model number 4F65, patent number 1768386, and electrical usage of 100 volts, 60 cycles, and 2 watts. Patent number 1768386 was issued June 24, 1930 to Henry E. Warren of Ashland, MA, assignor to Warren Telechron Company of Ashland, specifically for the invention of a motor rotor used in this clock. The original electrical chord, measuring five feet, is attached to the back of the clock. |
